I think a set of snow brushes could be fun.

For just download, there ist now no application, so not to know whether it is good or not. But i believe, that ist the best brushes as i´ve had.

is there a way for windows users to get these? my comp can't read the file at all or unzip it. it doesn't download as a zip file to be unzipped. otherwise, can you tell me where you got the images so i might be able to make my own brush from them? they are some of the most beautiful snowflakes i've seen for gimp.

For Windows users, I explained it a bit on my website (the part that start with "For the people using windows...", see the link "MY WEBSITE" on the description)

And I got the images from my own mind, all my brushes are "hand made", I wouldn't call them 'my brushes' otherwise :)

Grah, darn, I clicked on "Send" too early.
Anyway ...
it still didn't seem to work --- as you don't tell me what doesn't work, I really can't help you.
Maybe you can't download the file (although it seems to download fine from DA and from my website)
Maybe you can't open the file, even using 7zip as described on my site.
Maybe you can't see the brushes in GIMP, even after putting the .gbr files in the correct folder.

Too many options ...

do you use a special program to get the flakes symmetrical? --- Yeah, a program called GIMP.

well, i can get your "swirl" brushes just fine, but not these. did you load them differently? i tried what you suggested above, it still didn't seem to work. do you use a special program to get the flakes symmetrical?
